This is a complete joke. Why would Nickelodeon let M. Night Shyamalan direct this adaptation? If you think he learned his lesson after the Planet of the Apes remake was a complete failure, then think again.
Right from the beginning, the casting is outrageous as the actor who played Aang is a Caucasian, not Asian, and so are the rest -- from Sokka, Katara to the extras. Dev Patel closely resembles his character but he’s not bald. This version of Uncle Iroh is neither fat nor old, not to mention Zhao is Indian and Ozai is New Zealander! The effects and fight sequence blows my mind. And the story, I feel amused although I haven’t watch the series.I’m not quite expecting for the sequel since Azula will appear soon as the main antagonist and that story continues. The reason for watching this is for excitement, not for marketing purposes.
