Should this title be “The European”? After all, the movie takes place in Italy, not the United States. The story is well-driven with a little bit of twisted plots; otherwise, it is incredibly boring and so is George Clooney.
I should point out that this is definitely not an action movie you are looking for as clearly seen in the trailer. He is Jack, a master craftsman who takes his last job as an assassin/delivery boy. I have never seen a silencer sniper rifle before but it is outstandingly awesome. Clara has a gun and she will kill you if you mess with her. Mathilde is working under Pavel, Jack’s contractor and what is her assignment? Kill him before his retirement plan will commence.
Less action scene, beautiful scenery and procession deliver a great impression for an adaptation like this. Go check it out! It’s a freaking great movie.
