Shorties: Easy A

Like they say, play fire with fire because “Easy A” will make your girlfriends jealous. This modern-day satire of Nathaniel Hawthorne’s hidden treasure vandalizes “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” with extra humor and added guilty pleasure. In short, Emma Stone performs like a real Hollywood icon.
As you may notice, lying about being an adulteress is the centerpiece of the film. However, the downside starts after the middle where she gets bitchslapped by Maryanne, confronts her best friend and the protesters, reads the Bible and seeks spiritual guidance from the pastor (Fred Armisen). Let’s wrap things up: Emma stuns me and I love her, her family is overprotective, it is Brandon’s fault for starting this rollercoaster spectacle, Amanda is a whining bimbo, Penn is a guardian, Alyson betrays her, and Thomas Haden is a creepy rapper.
It is not too late to watch this teen comedy. Go check it out.
