WARNING: This contains less emo overtone and plentiful elements of confusion. Read with extreme caution!
Lisbeth’s one night stand with Miriam is the only tempting scene and the rest is undeniably putrid roadkill, unless either you watch the first film, which is not directed by Daniel Alfredson, or read the book of the same name.
Basically, its theme is corruption by blackmail and anyone who exposes their illegal activities will cross the river Styx. By the way, Lisbeth’s look is more casual than the previous.
Is it about revenge? If so, then I guess you are sleeping while watching this two-hour boredom is your priority. Mikael is tiresome as he investigates the murder of three people but he never meets her and so are the rest of the Millenium magazine, along with Bublanski and his team. Former Swedish boxer Paolo Roberto makes an appearance as Lisbeth’s trainer but he is no match for Ric Nielsen v34.5 alias Niedermann.
The confusion is just the beginning.
