Shorties: Disney's A Christmas Carol

Happy Holidays to you all!

I read “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens and it is considered a timeless classic. If we know the whole story, then why do we need to watch it in 3D no less? I have seen many adaptations from the original to the Muppets version and I don’t care if it’s for money-grabbing benefits.
Again, the story does not change much but the animation is the primary key to captivate the audience, including yours truly. Oh, and don’t forget Jim Carrey. He does a great job as Ebenezer Scrooge and Three Christmas Ghosts. I disagree that some scenes, especially with the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, scare minor audiences. In fact, they don’t scare me all the time.
Although Robert Zemeckis borrows several elements from Beowulf and the Polar Express, he does a good job as long as he never disappoints them.
Whatever adaptations you will watch, I will add them on my list of nostalgic movies even though it will soon be forgetful.
